Move over 10-step Korean beauty. It’s all about the 9-step Harry Styles’s beauty prep.

At least, that’s what we’ve gathered from Lou Teasdale, aka groomer extraordinaire to Harry Styles (aka our Style Lord). A few days ago, the celebrity stylist snapped a photo of Harry’s beauty products for all of Instagram to see. The photo is now deleted, perhaps because Lou was nervous that the photo was way too clear and we all could get a glimpse into all of Harry’s beauty secrets. But it was intriguing all the less to see how similar Harry was to many a beauty enthusiast.

Good thing we have a thing called screen grab, because on second look, it’s amazing to see just how savvy Harry is when it comes to using products that we definitely co-sign on. It’s almost as if he headed into our own medicine cabinet and stole everything for himself. Harry, we truly are two peas in a beauty pod.

But what was most interesting to see is that Harry’s beautifully wavy locks take a lot of work to achieve. Like, he definitely did not wake up like that. According to the snap below, we now know Harry adheres to at least 9 hair products to get his mane in full force.

From his love of Bumble and Bumble (like, the entire line, basically!), Jen Atkins’ Ouai, and a sea salt spray, we see just how much effort it takes to get it right. Other products of note: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille fragrance (we used that last summer), and Sunday Riley’s U.F.O. (which, we’ve documented here). It’s safe to say that Harry Styles is just like all of us. A true beauty boy, if there ever was one.

To see exactly what he was using, we broke it down for you.

Diptyque- Cannell/ Cinnamon Candle ($64)

First things first: You gotta set the mood backstage so you can perform your best. It’s no wonder, then that he uses Cannelle cinnamon candle from the French fragrance brand. The candle has notes from cinnamon and sap, that’s dry, warm and spicy.

Tom Ford- Tobacco Vanille Fragrance ($240)

Speaking of fragrances, apparently he likes to keep it musky, sweet and spicy. This fragrance from Tom Ford has plenty going on for it. This, including tobacco flower, vanilla, cocoa, finished with sweet wood sap give it a full, masculine scent. Harry Styles’ beauty products aren’t always cheap…

Bumble and Bumble- Prep ($26)

We’ve used Bumble and Bumble’s Prep before, as documented here, and we have to say, that it truly is a hair game changer. It’s a hair primer that’s full of herbs and vitamins that allows your tresses to grab a hold of products a little better, while conditioning the scalp. We surmise that Harry, who has a lot of hair, will be using this a lot throughout the day to reactivate the products when they’ve dried.

Bumble and Bumble- Tonic Lotion ($26)

The styling lotion is exactly what it sounds like. It tames the hair while conditioning it. After prepping with the Prep, a styling lotion, which is kind of like a conditioner, completely get the hair ready to get blown out, protecting the follicles.

Bumble and Bumble- Brilliantine ($25)

The product gives you that added shine and is applied after the previous two steps. A small, tiny dollop goes a long way to tousle hair and comb it out without any fuss.

Bumble and Bumble- Thickening Dryspun Volume Texture Spray ($37)

The brand’s holding spray is exactly what you’d think it is. It allows the hair to stay in place, which is essential for rockers like Harry, who have rock out onstage. Great for any style, whether matte or wet.

Bumble and Bumble- Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil ($32)

It’s almost a miracle oil for hair. It softens, reduces frizz, flyaways, and any tangles while protecting it from a hairdryer and intense heat. Can be used before blowdrying.

OUAI Wave Spray ($26)

It’s no secret Jen Atkins’ genius product line has become an instant overnight success. The celebrity hairstylist to the likes of the Kardashian Klan, created several products that are really, really solid. One is this Wave Spray that gives you that perfect beachy look.

Ouai- Hair Oil ($28)

Use this for frizz-free hair. It’s perfect before blowdrying and protects hair color from fading out. Harry probably uses this when he’s washed his hair or prepped it with the prep mentioned above.

Ouai- Matte Pomade ($24)

The Matte Pomade isn’t sticky, holds very well and has a fresh, beautiful fragrance. It gives a moldable finish without feeling too gooey. Gives you that nice, matte look. Buy here!

Sunday Riley- U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil ($40)

It’s no secret that we’ve been raving about Sunday Riley since the beginning of time. It’s nice to know that Harry Styles’ beauty regimen includes this iconic face oil. The product, the Ultra-Clarifying Facial Oil, as we’ve reviewed here, is all about hydrating the face while treating it. That means it has products like salicylic acid to help out with blemishes or clear pores. It’s a product we’re (that’s Harry and all of us), are obsessed about!
