It’s officially Amazon Prime Day and I’m going to need a doctor to inject these crazy-good beauty sales directly into my veins STAT.
Nothing feels better than buying your favorite beauty products at a deep discount, and Amazon Prime Day never disappoints. While some major retailer sales like Sephora cap the total savings at 20-percent, Amazon Prime Day is known for its serious markdowns on products from brands that rarely go on sale, like the Dyson Blow Dryer or Olaplex products. It’s the best time of the year to stock up on some of your all-time faves you’ll never go a day without – like Beautyblenders – and try out new products that would normally be out of your price range.
Amazon Prime Day is usually sometime in July, but the retailer pushed it back this year due to *gestures broadly into the horizon holding back tears* everything. So this year, Amazon Prime Day will run from Tuesday, October 13, 12 a.m. PT, through Wednesday, October 14 at midnight PT, with early-access deals on certain devices and products. Yes, it’s literally a day and not a second more, so get your carts and credit cards ready.
Considering we’re still in a pandemic and many families are still struggling, Amazon has decided to do Prime Day a bit different this year. The retailer is offering a $10 credit for customers who spend $10 or more on items sold by select small businesses in Amazon’s store.
